I love the aspect ratio and the build quality of the phone. There have been some beta updates that enhance the performance (force full screen), but the phone still has some downsides. Connecting and staying connected to WiFi can be a chore in some places. I have to forget and reinstall my office WiFi every time. Battery life could be better, but it does charge quickly. Speaker quality is lacking, but I primarily use earbuds when using my phone. The speaker(s) just sound weak, and unbalanced. The pros far outweigh the cons, but that's fory use case. It's hard to give a detailed review on a personal device, because it's really all about personal preferences.

For the amount of money you spend on this device do yourself a favor and don't get it literally had mine for two days got a case and screen protector for it and literally next day the inside screen broke while closed in my pocket keep in mind I was being extremely cautious because it's so expensive but still broke durability is garbage and the camera quality and battery is garbage as well my pixel 6 has a better camera and they both get around the same battery life I hope my experience helps others not have the same experience as me
This is the second Fold I have purchased and thank you, Google Store, for actually delivering a phone and not an empty box like this seller did.The phone is really nice so far. Beautiful to look at and hold and the inner screen really makes all of the difference. Time will tell if this phone is really one of the top foldable phones out there, but I am not disappointed yet. I almost don't want to put a case on it (I ordered the porcelain color), but for this price it needs to be protected at all times. There are still a lot of features to discover, but if you like new Google products and want to try a foldable, then this is a good start.
The Pixel fold has a beautiful outside screen and the full open screen is beautiful. Good for if you have a job where you have to multitask the screens, do get bright enough to use outdoors. Plus, you get timely major updates from Google and security updates every month. Unlike the one plus open or the Samsung fold that don't keep up with the updates for software.
Having come from the Galaxy Fold 3 and 4, this is an amazing product. I really love the different aspect ratio on the main screen as it really lets me use it as a normal phone when I want. The Fold is to skinny and tall to work well as a "hone." It also just works right out of the box, the Galaxy options needed a lot of tinkering to make it work well, at least for my needs and how I use a phone. Obviously it is a lot of money, but really can be used as a phone and tablet.
I've been using the Samsung Galaxy fold 3 and 4 for the last couple years and I wanted to give this one a shot to see if it was any better than what Samsung is offering. The Pixel fold is light and has a nice wide screen one open but feels very very unbalanced when trying to use it one-handed.I like the fact that the outer screen is wider when closed, but it also makes it wider when compared to the Samsung. The phone feels very unbalanced one open and trying to hold it with one hand.Samsung did a pretty good job getting there phone to feel balanced in either hand.
I know this phone is a little costly but it's really worth it. At first I was hectic but this phone is amazing. I love it. I adore it and I'm very clumsy I have literally cracked the screens on my phone so my previous six phones within the first month of the first purchasing them. I've dropped this phone several times and my god not one crack. It's like it's metal. Granted. I do have a phone case on it but there's nothing on it and there's very very huge selection of phone screens. You know protectors and of everything for this phone and they really work and this one is just amazing. It's like perfect! I'm glad about it and I really do recommend it way way better than any Samsung foldables and if you're going to go for Android you might as well go for the creator and the ones that run Android which is Google so don't think twice this phone if you're looking for a foldable this is a perfect phone
Battery lasts the same amount time as my Pixel 8 Pro. It's a fun phone to use, works well with my Pixel stand, and has a beautiful screen and camera. What more could I ask for?
I have been testing foldable phones lately and the biggest issue is when you look at samsung they load all of their custom apps and software phone vs the google pixel series always has a simple version of android with the latest of everything from google. The screen size when closed with this phone is pretty good over all but it feels too short. When you open the phone it is pretty awesome but google completed failed at allowing you to have options when the unit is open. For example if you open gmail on the pixel fold you are forced to have the email list on the left and to view the email on the right, there is no way to view it as big large screen. On the samsung fold and oneplus open you can view then full. If you opened a PDF in gmail it only uses half of the screen, It is the dumbest implementation I have seen. The phone feels really heavy compared to the other foldables and feels unfinished in so many ways. The software is not what I expect from Google compared to something like the Pixel 8 Pro. While you get many of the features google is known for its still not complete. I could not see my self using this as a daily phone after testing out other foldables. If you want a foldable phone id look at the oneplus open. it is by far the best one out there.
